2026, the Year of the Horse

2026, the Year of the Horse

In the East, the year 2026 is called Byeongo-nyeon (丙午年), the Year of the Fiery Horse, a name imbued with symbolic color.

The horse has long stood as an emblem of freedom and speed. When these two signs converge to define a year, they create an atmosphere that is both fervent and dynamic. Thus, 2026 can be interpreted as a time when the boundaries of life stretch outward and the long-buried will within us prepares to leap.

“Red is the color of rising vitality, the spark that awakens a will long asleep.

So when we imagine the Year of the Fiery Horse, we cannot help but see the texture of wind and a landscape of dust-laden earth.”

The intensity of 2026, a year governed by the energy of fire, is not mere passion. Fire becomes light only when we learn to master it. The horse, too, is not defined solely by its speed; only when one learns to steer both pace and direction does the journey become truly one’s own. And so, what we need in 2026 is balance and restraint a rhythm that harmonizes a burning heart with a quiet breath.

At the first dawn of the new year, the crimson glow spreading across the eastern sky seems to whisper to us: “Even the path you once feared and abandoned try walking it again. It is in motion that the road reveals itself.”

In 2026, we will run with the Fiery Horse across our own vast terrains -feeling the wind, seeking the road, and writing the year in our own pace, with our own dreams.
